Hubby's Stash Scarf

A few weeks ago Hubby asked me to knit him a scarf. He wanted something from the stash. I wanted to make him an Irish Hiking scarf but did not have enough yarn for it. All I had was red, white and fuschia which were set aside for a felted bag. Red was too bright; fuschia was out of the question; so by default he got the winter white. I showed him a sampler scarf I made when I taught myself how to knit. He knows I'm a slow knitter and he wants to wear this scarf this winter. So we decided on a garter stitch scarf. I found some leftover grey and hunter green yarn that I can add to it to make it a bit more interesting.

This will be a perfect first project for Kim's Stashalong KAL.

Great scarf--what a stashbuster that is and it looks awesome! I can't wait for the Sweet Heart sweater; I love the yarn you picked!! Just popping through on weekly Stashalong patrol.

I like the colors, the stripe pattern, and the photo with the race track.
